Here’s what to expect from QTAC in January and February 2022.

13 January 2022: was the “major” offer round
- Almost all QTAC courses sent out offers at 8.30am on 13 January 2022.
- This included the most competitive courses that are assessed via QTAC, like medicine and dentistry. 13 January was the first time that these courses sent offers.
21 January 2022: top up offer round
Top up offer rounds are days on which smaller numbers of course offers are released to applicants. These offers are a result of applicants deferring or rejecting their offer in the previous offer round. Top up offers fill up the extra spaces for courses starting in Semester 1 2022.
28 January 2022: first offers released to 2021 NSW & ACT Year 12 students
From 8.30am on 28 January, 2021 NSW and ACT Year 12 students can receive offers from QTAC.
Why? Because the NSW and ACT ATARs weren’t released until last week. Some universities have actually held places in their courses for the 28 January offer round so that NSW and ACT students have a chance to get an offer. For more info, get in touch with QTAC!
1 Feb onwards: more top up offers
QTAC will continue to send top up offers after the 28 January offer round.

11 March 2022: offers released for Bond University’s Medicine Program
Bond University’s medicine program (Bachelor of Medical Studies/Doctor of Medicine) has one of the latest offer round dates. So if you’re interested in this program, don’t be worried that you haven’t heard received an offer via QTAC in January or February. That being said, if you’re in the running for an offer you should have been invited to online testing and an interview by early 2022.

Get in touch with QTAC ASAP!
Most QTAC applicants get an offer on 13 January, so if you still haven’t received an offer, it’s important to ask QTAC why. They can give you advice so that (hopefully) you’ll get an offer in the a “top up” offer round.
