The answer is probably “yes!”, as long as you’ve already applied to QTAC.
Let’s talk about important dates in the QTAC offer rounds.
Which QTAC offer rounds are coming up?
You probably know by now that the upcoming QTAC offer rounds are:
- 12 January – the major offer round, where most courses will release offers
- 20 January – the big “top up” offer round, to fill up any spare places in courses
- 27 January onwards – more “top up” offer rounds to fill up any remaining course places
When are QTAC preferences due?
It depends on the offer round.

| 12 January 2023 | Most course offers released | 11.59pm, Wednesday, 4 January 2023 |
| 20 January 2023 | Largest number of “top up” offers released | ASAP – I would suggest by 4pm, Monday, 16 January 2023 (deadline for responding to offers from 12 January 2023 offer round). |
| 27 January 2023 onwards | Further “top up” offers released | ASAP – I would suggest by 4pm, Tuesday, 24 January 2022 at the latest (deadline for responding to offers from 20 January 2023 offer round). |
QTAC don’t give a strict due date for preferences to be updated for top up offer rounds, so I would suggest using the due date for responses to the previous offer round as a guide.
