QTAC publish great reports each year about how the Queensland ATAR. These reports are really helpful for understanding how the Queensland ATAR is calculated. They also give you insights into how different subjects have scaled in each year.
But they’re not that easy to find.

Remember, subject scaling changes each year based on how each different cohort of Year 12 students performs across all of their subjects. So while the ATAR reports can give you some ideas about how subjects could scale in the future, there’s no guarantee – scaling will depend on how everyone in Year 12 performs across their subjects in the year you’re doing Year 12.
