What can QTAC help with?
QTAC can help with a lot of stuff and are especially helpful if you’re having any issues with your QTAC application.
Who else can you talk to?
You might find it helpful to talk about your broader career and study plans, goals and strategy with a qualified careers counsellor – ie. someone like me.
How do careers advice sessions work?
- You share a bit about your situation, goals and plans at the moment
- We organise a time to chat – either in-person, on the phone or on Zoom
- We talk through your challenges, questions and aspirations
- We make a plan for the future
- I follow up with an email about our chat and some helpful resources
- You let me know how things go for you and we chat again, if you’d like
How much does it cost?
It really depends on what you’d like.
I offer sessions that are priced by length, but I also offer special bundles and packages, like the Trouble-shooter careers advice session – which includes up to 20 minutes on the phone, plus a follow up email and resources – for $30.
For transparent information about my session types and prices, check out the Get Careers Advice section of this site.
How can I find other qualified Careers Specialists?
The Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA) have a great Find a Career Specialist tool that you can use to find other qualified, accredited careers specialists in your area.
You got this!
